The chicken caprese pasta was the best thing of the evening, but not worth $13. (Both drinks were still sitting on the table after we finished eating, untouched after the first sips.) We ordered an appetizer that was alright, but overdone on the edges. on Sunday evening, the beloved Deep Ellum watering hole Anvil Pub offered up a legitimate Halloween fright by announcing on Facebook that it would be serving its last-ever drinks at closing time later in the night.
